Program Activities |
Charis Circle serves our mission by hosting educational programs and organizing direct action to advance social justice; and by facilitating writing groups, author readings, book groups and cultural events (open mic and movie viewings) to encourage the expression of diverse and marginalized voices. We foster sustainable feminist communities in our internal and community work by connecting all forms of oppression, working in coalition with others, having fun together and operating according to established ground rules to promote empowerment and respect. Charis Circle partners with Charis Books and More to provide a welcoming community gathering space open to the public 7 days a week. |
